Nursing Pads FAQs

Q: How do I use EPIBI® Nursing Pads?
A: The white, soft surface is placed against the breast.

Q: What is the best way to wash and dry the breast pads?
A: Gentle, machine wash in cold water or hand wash with non-bleach mild detergent, air dry or low heat tumble dry. You may use spot remover. Using bleach will shorten the lifespan. Adding 5 mL (one teaspoonful) of Hydrogen Peroxide to the soapy pads will keep them clean.

Q: How often should the EPIBI Nursing Pads be changed?
A: It depends on how much your milk leaks. Change them whenever they feel moist. Change them at least daily.

Q: How are EPIBI Nursing Pads different from other washable pads?
A: EPIBI Nursing Pads are reusable and moisture wicking. Engineered fabrics pull moisture away from skin towards the bra side. The inner layer keeps the pad cleaner and skin healthier.

Q: How does the antimicrobial layer in EPIBI work?
A: It is permanently bound to the fibers of the fabric. It does not get washed away. It eventually falls apart as the fabric layers fall apart.

Q: What does FDA-cleared mean?
A: The inner, white layer of EPIBI Nursing Pad is a textile already cleared by the FDA for patients with sensitive skin.

Q: What are EPIBI Super Absorbency Pads?
A: Abundant milk leak can cause constant moisture problems. EPIBI Super Absorbency Nursing Pads are thicker and more absorbent for extended use. They can absorb up to 3X as much as the Regular Absorbency Nursing Pads. They can also be used as milk pads for a premature baby’s bassinet in the Newborn Nursery or the NICU.

Q: Can I freeze the EPIBI Nursing Pads?
A: Yes. They will feel cool and soft against your skin.

Diaper Liners FAQs

Q: What is EPIBI Diaper Liner?
A: EPIBI Diaper Liner is a thin layer of reusable fabrics placed between the skin and the diaper.

Q: How does it work?

A: When placed under the skin, it wicks away urine, reducing moisture and ammonia in contact with the skin. The moisture wicking keeps liner dry and skin healthy. Non-abrasive fabric reduces skin chafing.

Q: What makes it hypoallergenic?

A: Long, tightly woven fibers do not break off and pill. Pilling can cause skin chafing and irritation. Sometimes it can add to the diaper rash misery.

Q: Does the EPIBI Diaper Liner absorb urine?

A: Our diaper liner's smooth, moisture-wicking side keep the skin dry. The bumpy under side absorbs urine and keeps away from skin.

Q: What is the care instruction?
A: Regular wash, avoid harsh detergents or bleach. Air dry makes the liner last longer. Due to the thinness, it dries within 20 minutes.
